Autoshop Cannonball est. 1993

In the early 90’s a group of touge enthusiasts drifted the mountains of Osaka. In 1991 they formed Team Cannonball. Two years later opening their own shop for local drifters and friends. By 1996 Autoshop Cannonball officially incorporated and became a racing team. Their efforts paid off when owner/driver Hideki Nishimura won the Japanese Super Corolla Cup Championship in 1996, 1997, 1998 and 1999! Amazingly, during this time period he campaigned a Honda Civic in N1 class and won the championship in 1998.
Autoshop Cannonball opened it’s doors and the Canadian drifting scene in 2002, quickly establishing itself as the largest JDM importer in North America and the only drift specialist shop. Cannonball jump started the Vancouver Drifters Society which still provides safe, inexpensive events for local drifters.
Currently Cannonball campaigns three cars in three different drift series. This years expansion sees a new drag racing car as well as support for rotary performance modifications.
